Pranjal Drall

I am a JD-PhD student in Financial Economics at Yale Law School and the Yale School of Management. My research focuses on financial regulation, bankruptcy, and energy law and policy.

Prior to graduate school, I was a predoc at the Energy Policy Institute of the University of Chicago (EPIC) with Thom Covert and Ryan Kellogg where I worked on misallocation and productivity in the US fracking industry. Before that, I worked with Ian Ayres at Yale Law School on retirement menu design, gun policy, and other law and economics questions.

I graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Grinnell College.

Outside of research, I play tennis, root for the Green Bay Packers, and watch a lot of indie film.
